In Friday's non-league game, the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ) football team triumphed over the host Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ), by a tally of 40-6.

In their next game, the Crimson Knights clash with the Chandler Prep Titans (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Friday, August 29. Trivium Prep will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
