Indiana High School Football - Muncie Central sneaks past Delta

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats football squad scored a close 16-13 triumph over the Delta Eagles.

The Bearcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Yorktown nipped Anderson (Anderson, IN), 55-0, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. Delta will play a Patriots team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
