Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Vista Meridian Meridian Eagles (Santa Ana, CA), 50-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Desert Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Laton (Laton, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, August 29. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 0-0.

Coming up next, the Meridian Eagles confront the Calvary Baptist Cougars (La Verne, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. Vista Meridian will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
