The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Asheville for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Dobyns-Bennett will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 40-36 non-league win over East Rutherford (Bostic, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Knoxville Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Fulton (Knoxville, TN) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29.
