Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host South Point Pointers (South Point, OH), 13-6 in a non-league match.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Huntington (Chillicothe, OH). The Huntsmen come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Huntington tipped East Clinton (Sabina, OH), 50-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Pointers confront the Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. South Point will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
