August 22, 2025: Madison, WI 53711 The Edgewood Crusaders football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting New Berlin Eisenhower Lions to 30 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to McFarland for a non-league game on Friday, August 29. Edgewood will face a Spartans team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Whitnall (Greenfield, WI). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Whitnall ran past Milwaukee Academy of Science (Milwaukee, WI), 56-20, in a non-league game.
