Tindley Tigers (Indianapolis, IN) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Edinburgh Lancers (Edinburgh, IN), 28-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Tindley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, August 29. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 1-0. Park Tudor won 44-34 in their recent non-league match against Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN)

Coming up next, the Lancers confront the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. Edinburgh will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 33-13 non-league win over Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN).
