August 22, 2025: Alexandria, SD 57311 The Hanson Beavers football squad scored 50 points and limited the visiting Garretson Blue Dragons to 7 in the Beavers league triumph on Friday.
The Beavers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hamlin for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Hanson will face a Chargers team coming off a 36-0 league win over Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 1-0.
The Blue Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, DeSmet was ripped by Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD), 36-34, in a non-league challenge.
