In Friday's non-league match, the host Hesperia Scorpions football squad scored a good 37-28 victory over the Palmdale Falcons.

The Scorpions (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Jurupa Hills (Fontana, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Jurupa Hills was beaten by Central (El Centro, CA), 47-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Leuzinger Olympians (Lawndale, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 29. Palmdale will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Olympians go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA).
