The Highland Tech Rams football team (Gastonia, NC), was crushed 50-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC)

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, West Lincoln was crushed by North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 41-14, in a non-league bout.

The Rams now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Shelby for a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A bout on Friday, September 5.
