The Ridgedale Rockets ran past the visiting Hilltop Cadets football squad by a count of 28-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rockets now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Elgin for a Northwest Central test on Friday, August 29. Ridgedale will meet a Comets squad coming off a 42-15 non-league loss to River Valley (Caledonia, OH). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Hilltop drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cadets host Edgerton (Edgerton, OH) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Edgerton won 41-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Edon (Edon, OH)
