In Friday's non-league match, the host Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate football team scored a big 43-7 win over the Lowry Buckaroos.

In their next game, the Pirate play the Foothill Falcons (Henderson, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 34-28 non-league win over Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV).

The Buckaroos (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils go into the 3A Northern challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Dayton bounced Wooster (Reno, NV), 45-0, in a non-league challenge.
