The Sandy Creek Patriots football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting McIntosh Chiefs to 7 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to LaGrange for a AAA Region 2 test on Friday, August 29. Sandy Creek will meet a Grangers squad coming off a 42-8 non-league win over Early County (Blakely, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 2-0.

The Chiefs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Hillgrove bounced Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA), 46-7, in a non-league challenge.
