Utah High School Football - Murray defeats Taylorsville

August 22, 2025: Taylorsville, UT 84123

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Murray Spartans (Murray, UT) and the host Taylorsville Warriors (Taylorsville, UT), witnessed Murray's football squad topple Taylorsville by a tally of 26-13.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hurricane (Hurricane, UT). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Hurricane overcame Moapa Valley (Overton, NV), 35-28, in a non-league bout.

The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Herriman for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. Taylorsville will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 50-3 non-league win over Desert Hills (St. George, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
