Tennessee High School Soccer - Battle Ground Academy overwhelmed by Signal Mountain
August 22, 2025: Signal Mountain, TN 37377 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) and the visiting Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN), witnessed Signal Mountain's soccer team beat Battle Ground Academy by a final score of 6-2.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Houston (Germantown, TN). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Houston tipped Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN), 6-0, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Webb for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Battle Ground Academy will meet a Spartans team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Christian Academy of Knoxville (Knoxville, TN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
