Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Haverford nudges Abington
August 22, 2025: Havertown, PA 19083 The Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) soccer nipped the visiting Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA), 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Fords now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Unionville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. Haverford will face a Longhorns team coming off a 0-0 non-league Holy Ghost Prep (Bensalem, PA). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-0.
The Galloping Ghosts (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA). The Hatters enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hatboro-Horsham was nipped by Henderson (West Chester, PA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
