Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Plum knocks off Shaler Area
August 22, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15239 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Plum Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Shaler Area Titans.
The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last test, North Allegheny edged Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA), 7-0, in a non-league test.
The Titans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kiski Area for a WPIAL AAA 1 test on Tuesday, August 26. Shaler Area will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 0-0 non-league Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-0.
