Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO), 12-0 in a non-league match.

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO). The Farmers come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Wheat Ridge was routed by Northglenn (Northglenn, CO), 7-6, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Devils battle the Greeley West Spartans (Greeley, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 22. Eagle Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 21-1 league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CO).
