August 22, 2025: Denison, TX 75020 Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Denison improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX) to meet the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 22. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 11-0. Memorial won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX)
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Tom Bean Tomcats (Tom Bean, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Howe will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Tomcats come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bells (Bells, TX).
