In Friday's non-league match, the Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 23. Lake Ridge will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes come into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX).
