With the win, William Blount improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Governors host Brentwood (Brentwood, TN) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Brentwood won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Summit (Spring Hill, TN)
Next, the Eagles meet the David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Seymour will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Ridge (Blountville, TN).
