Highway 91 (Leigh, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Boone Central/Newman Grove Cardinals (Albion, NE), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pierce for a C District 6 challenge on Tuesday, August 24. Highway 91 will battle a Bluejays squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-3.
