Ohio High School Soccer - Mathews knocks off Bristol
August 23, 2022: Bristolville, OH 44402 Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bristol Panthers (Bristolville, OH), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Newton Falls Tigers (Newton Falls, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 24. Mathews will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
The Panthers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pymatuning Valley for a Northeastern challenge on Thursday, August 25. Bristol will confront a Lakers team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.
