Georgia High School Softball - Southwest Georgia Academy bounces Deerfield-Windsor
August 23, 2023: Damascus, GA 39841 The Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors routed the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights softball squad by a final score of 12-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Warriors (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Brookstone (Columbus, GA). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Brookstone topped Stratford Academy (Macon, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to First Presbyterian Day for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 24. Deerfield-Windsor will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Jasper County (Monticello, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-4.
