The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA) and the host Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA), witnessed Boron's football squad topple Bishop Montgomery by a tally of 44-28.

The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the South El Monte Eagles (South El Monte, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 30. Bishop Montgomery will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
