Utah High School Football - Carbon holds off Grand County

August 23, 2024: Price, UT 84501

The Carbon Dinos football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Grand County Red Devils to 26 in the Dinos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Dinos now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ogden for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Carbon will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 45-19 non-league win over Judge Memorial Catholic (Salt Lake City, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Grand County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Gunnison Valley (Gunnison, UT) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-1. Gunnison Valley lost 28-12 in their recent non-league test against Rich (Randolph, UT)
