Kentucky High School Football - Muhlenberg County loses to Caverna
August 23, 2024: Greenville, KY 42345 Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY), 56-44 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Caverna advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Colonels host Adair County (Columbia, KY) to play the Indians in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Adair County won 22-16 in their recent non-league battle against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY)
The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host McLean County for a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. Muhlenberg County will play a Cougars team coming off a 44-6 non-league win over Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
