The Farmville Central Jaguars football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Goldsboro Cougars to 6 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Lenoir for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Farmville Central will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 25-0 non-league loss to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Goldsboro drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to meet the Saints in a non-league test on Friday, August 30.
