The Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) football were winner over the host First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC), 59-35 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Cyclones now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Savannah Country Day for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. Porter-Gaud will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Athens Academy (Athens, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, First Baptist School drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league outing on Friday, August 30.
