The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) and the host Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH), witnessed Ridgedale's football squad edge Hilltop by a tally of 14-13.

The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets enter the Northwest Central contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Elgin was nudged by Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH), 26-22, in a non-league contest.
