In Friday's league match, the visiting North Pole Patriots football squad scored a good 43-20 triumph over the Wasilla Warriors.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Houston (Big Lake, AK). The Hawks come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Houston defeated Kodiak (Kodiak, AK), 52-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 31. Wasilla will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Whalers come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 18-12 league win over Kenai Central (Kenai, AK).
