The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC) and the visiting Orangeburg Prep Indians (Orangeburg, SC), witnessed Wilson Hall's football squad edge Orangeburg Prep by a tally of 20-17.

The Barons (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC). The Crusaders enter the SCISA 3A Region II contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Northside Christian Academy got by Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC), 33-26, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Indians battle the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors (Ehrhardt, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 30. Orangeburg Prep will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
