August 23, 2024: Wyoming, MI 49548 Godwin Heights Wolverines (Wyoming, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Allendale Falcons (Allendale, MI), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Godwin Heights advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Hopkins (Hopkins, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Thursday, August 29. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-3. Hopkins won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Montague (Montague, MI)
The Falcons now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sparta for a non-league match on Monday, August 26. Allendale will meet a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Coopersville (Coopersville, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
