Georgia High School Softball - Colquitt County bounces Sequoyah
August 23, 2024: Norman Park, GA 31771 In Friday's non-league match, the host Colquitt County Packers softball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Sequoyah Chiefs.
The Packers (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Houston County tipped Lee County (Leesburg, GA), 12-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) in a 5A Region 6 match, on Tuesday, August 27. Sequoyah will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record.
