The Trona Tornadoes volleyball squad (Trona, CA), was edged 3-2 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV)

With the win, Beatty improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Liberty Baptist Academy (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 3-5.

The Tornadoes now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mojave for a Hi-Lo battle on Wednesday, September 4.
