August 23, 2025: Youngstown, OH 44515 Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH) boosters were in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), 13-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Hudson improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Explorers host Highland (Medina, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Falcons now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Jackson for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Austintown-Fitch will meet a Polar Bears squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-0.
