August 23, 2025: Imperial Beach, CA 91932 In Saturday's non-league test, the host Mar Vista Mariners volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Escondido Cougars.
With the win, Mar Vista improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mariners host San Ysidro (San Diego, CA) to face the Cougars in a test on Friday, September 26. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 4-0.
The Cougars now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morse for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Escondido will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
