August 23, 2025: Garner, NC 27529 In Saturday's non-league bout, the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) volleyball team held off the visiting Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC), by a margin of 2-1.
The Trojans now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Southeast Raleigh for a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. Garner will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Person drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Rockets host Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 26. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-3. Eastern Alamance lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC)
