August 23, 2025: Byron, MN 55920 The Byron Bears soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Waseca Bluejays to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Lourdes for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Byron will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mounds View (Arden Hills, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Waseca moves to 0-1 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Marshall (Marshall, MN) to face the Tigers in a Class A Section 2 game on Tuesday, August 26. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-2. Marshall lost 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Breck (Minneapolis, MN)
