In Saturday's non-league contest, the Forge Christian Fury (Arvada, CO) softball squad triumphed over the host Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), by a score of 12-2.

With the triumph, Forge Christian improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Fury travel to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to face the Dragons in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. The Dragons enter the contest with a record of 0-2. Holyoke lost 14-2 in their recent non-league bout against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO)
