The Lewis-Palmer Rangers softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions to 3 in the Rangers non-league win on Saturday.

The Rangers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Pueblo West for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. Lewis-Palmer will meet a Cyclones squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Cyclones record now stands at 2-2.

The Scorpions (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Woodland Park was routed by The Academy (Westminster, CO), 14-7, in a non-league challenge.
