The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) and the host Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), saw Musselman's volleyball squad notch a victory over Ashley by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Musselman improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Applemen host Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Eastern Panhandle battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Martinsburg won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV)

The Screaming Eagle now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Topsail for a Carolina Coast 6A/7A battle on Tuesday, August 26.
