Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Atwater improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Falcons host Ceres (Ceres, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Cougars now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enochs for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27.
