The Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) volleyball knocked off the visiting Avon Orioles (Avon, IN), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Shelbyville for a Hoosier Heritage bout on Monday, August 25. Yorktown will clash with a Golden Bears team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Columbus North (Columbus, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-2.
