The Willows Honkers volleyball squad (Willows, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Calaveras Red Hawks (San Andreas, CA)

The Red Hawks (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chico (Chico, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Chico was tipped by Orland (Orland, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Honkers meet the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. Willows will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Pierce (Arbuckle, CA).
