August 23, 2025: Abilene, TX 79605 Kennedale Wildcats (Kennedale, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Kennedale improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Lamar (Arlington, TX) to meet the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Lamar lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Boswell (Fort Worth, TX)
Next, the Cougars meet the Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, TX).
