August 23, 2025: Corbin, KY 40701 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) and the visiting Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY), saw Corbin's volleyball squad notch a victory over Lewis County by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Corbin improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Redhounds travel to Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) to encounter the Warhawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Warhawks go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Great Crossing won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Madison Central (Richmond, KY)
The Lions now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robertson County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Lewis County will meet a Black Devils team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Black Devils record now stands at 1-3.
