August 23, 2025: Columbus, GA 31909 The Shaw Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Hampton Hornets to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Shaw will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-5.
The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Osborne (Marietta, GA). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Osborne was dropped by Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
