Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hoover improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, OH) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, August 25. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Brunswick lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)

Next, the Fighting Irish meet the Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. St. Vincent-St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
