Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL). The Admirals come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bayside Academy lost by Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars play the Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) in a 5A Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Seckinger will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA).
